3 months!

Happy 3 month birthday boogie!!!! Time does fly when you're having fun and you, my dear, are the most fun I've ever had.

You're "talking," smiling, yelling, rolling, grabbing, smacking, and your favorite: standing! I think you'd stand all the time if you could. Its so crazy seeing your little booty standing like a big girl! Slow down booger! You're too small to be doing that!

What we've been up to the last month: Well we've been doing lots of napping :). You're sleeping in your crib and sleeping much better might I add, but your naps are usually on the couch with me.

We've been to the pool a few times. The first day you screamed because it was freezing. Now you love it! You even fell asleep while I was holding you in it the other day with Stacy and Ava.

My least favorite, I went back to work which means I spend 14+ hours a day, 3 days a week away from you and missing you like crazy. I seriously spend my free time at work looking at pictures of you, texting to see how you are doing or talking about you to everyone. You get to spend lots of alone time with daddy, which he enjoys most of the time, but he knows you miss me. "Momma does it best," its daddy's new favorite phrase. A part of me is glad to be back to work because I love what I do, but I wish I could take you with me! The second I get home, I steal you from daddy. I hate getting home so late and having to put you to bed because I just want to snuggle all night.

I love cuddling with you! I love the Moby wrap (which is where you are sleeping right now as I type this!). I love that we can cuddle and I can still clean and multitask.

I love kissing your sweet little face. I love when you play with my hair or touch my face. My biggest love is when I smile at you and you smile back. You melt my heart with that little grin. Those are my favorite smiles: the ones I don't even have to be silly or try to work for.

You've changed so much in 3 months. I want time to slow down, but I love seeing your personality come out. You're such a sassy smartypants! :-) Just like your momma. You have a temper and go from asleep to screaming in 0.3 seconds and you hate being messed with when you're grumpy. Just like your daddy. :O You also have the longest legs I've ever seen on a baby! You definitely did not get those from me! I'm excited to see what is to come!

Love you so much!!! XOXOXOX

Well its been awhile

Oh Molly...you've kept me so busy I haven't been able to update in forever! I haven't touched my computer in weeks! You're giving me a little break here (sleeping on my chest after a rough day...) So here it goes!

Well you're here! You graced us with your presence April 8, 2011. Best day of my life. You are amazing. I can't even explain to you the amount of love your daddy and I have for you. You are so beautiful, smart and sassy. I loved your newborn phase...you ate, slept and snuggled. You were tiny!!! Then all of a sudden you are 2 months old.

Where has time gone?!? I love this new phase as well. Its so fun seeing you grow and seeing your personality start to come out. You are now holding your head up, rolling from you belly to your back, "talking," reaching for things (including my face which I LOVE), holding onto your toys and smiling every now and then. You are quite the hard crowd! It takes a lot to get a grin out of you Miss Serious! You do well most nights in the sleep department, but you were a little mean to momma last night! But as I say a lot "you're lucky your cute!" :)

Its so true that babies grow up too fast. I just can't fathom how fast its happening. I have to go back to work in just a few weeks and I hate it! I love our days together, even the bad ones. I hate the thought of missing any of your "firsts." I hate having to leave you for so long. I hate thinking that I won't be here to comfort you when you're having a bad day. Its going to be hard, but its whats best for us! I'll keep telling myself that and hope I believe it soon! :-)

In other news:

We had your 2 month appointment today. You're now 8lbs, 1 oz and 21 inches long. Tall and skinny like your daddy (but thankfully, you look like momma :-P, just joking daddy!) You had to get 3 shots and it was awful. I never thought I'd be one of those moms that cry when their babies get shots, but I totally was. I've never seen you in so much pain. It was so heartbreaking! Luckily you are a tough little gal and it only lasted for a couple seconds.

I will try to keep this up to date so friends and family can see how you're growing and hopefully one day you can read this and know what you were like as a baby (and all the laying around I did to keep you healthy! :D) I love you baby girl!

36 weeks!

Today we hit 36 weeks! So exciting to have made it this far! Its amazing how much I can love this little peanut already. She is the most important thing in my life already and she isn't even here. I'd honestly do anything for her (like being on bedrest for 12 very long weeks) and hope that I make the right decisions. I want her to have the best life possible and I will do whatever I can to make sure that happens!

Stats from today:
AFI(fluid level): 9.0
Weight: 5.4 lbs!
Percentile: 13th, looking good!

Hopefully our next post will be announcing Molly has arrived! :-D

34wk stats!

This is going to be just a quick update of stats from today!

Fluid: 9.5, not the best but "ok"
Weight: 4.6 lbs! A whole pound in 2 weeks! Go Molly!
Percentile: 12th. Better than 10, but still low.
My blood pressure is AWESOME and I actually lost 2lbs in the past week. WOOHOO! :-)

And cute ultrasound pictures from today:

She might be small but look at those chunky cheeks! Wonder where she gets those... :-) She had both of her hands in front of her face so its not the best picture we've gotten of her, but I'm happy anytime they print me pictures. I'm glad they don't charge per print!

Of all the ultrasounds I've gotten this is actually our very first foot picture! The ultrasound tech says they always look huge, but I mean that is one big foot.

Last but not least: yay for 34 weeks!!! Its flying by. Can't wait til she is here!

Good day

Well we have a new weekly routine! I stopped at Starbucks this morning because I was craving my pepermint white mocha I used to get every morning I worked. Molly enjoyed it lots! We passed the NST with flying colors and she was very active during the ultrasound. The ultrasound tech even said "whatever you did this morning, do it every week!" Easy enough! :)

We also lucked out and got a free 3D picture. The u/s tech said Molly wasn't a good candidate for it because the lower amount of fluid makes it harder to get a good shot. I'm happy with what she got! This is Molly's "I love Starbucks" happy face. LOL
She's gained almost a full pound in the last 2 weeks! She's now 3.6lbs and still in the 25th percentile. Her stomach is still a little small. The plan is still delivery around 37 weeks unless she has a big growth spurt, then we'll just let her hang out in there.

So yay for good news! :)

Meeting Molly in 6 weeks!

Biggest news of today: I'll most likely delivery around 37 weeks as long as nothing goes wrong before then! IUGR babies tend to grow better on the outside vs the inside. Its nice to know that I have about 6 weeks left! I've been on bedrest 7 weeks already, so 6 weeks seems do-able! Hopefully she'll behave until then and preelampsia stays away.

She's given me something to think about: c/s or induction? Of course I'd rather be induced, but my cervix will most likely not be favorable to an induction. Oh well-I'd rather try! Worst case scenario is that I end up with a c/s anyways.

{Just throwing in at this time that we will not be telling ANYONE when we go into the hospital (so all of you ladies I work with, please no fb posts!). Charlie and I have decided we don't want extra people in the room during delivery and would like some time alone with our baby girl before we have visitors.}

In other news: My fluid is still around 12 and we passed today's NST thankfully!

Spoke with my doctor regarding the growth scan last week and Molly's growth is just fine: She's in the 25th percentile. She's small, but we knew that!

Another not-so-good day

Molly failed another NST today. Luckily I already had that extra ultrasound scheduled at the office. My fluid is up to 11.8 and we got a BPP of 8/8, PERFECT.

Apparently the u/s tech from last Thursday didn't have a clue as to why I was to come back for a repeat ultrasound today and then again on Thursday. From what I learned today, the doctor on call wasn't aware that my fluid started out at 6.1. So to her, 10 seemed low, when really its pretty high. She was also concerned that it was 10.8 before, then decreased to 10.0 last Thursday. So that was the reason I had to have an ultrasound today. Well and because she failed another NST.

I'm nervous every time we go in for an NST now. I don't get how she was super reactive at 24 weeks with a decreased amount of fluid and now that she is expect to look better with more fluid, she doesn't! Darn it Molly! Such a girl :)

Wish us luck for Thursday!
