Biggest news of today: I'll most likely delivery around 37 weeks as long as nothing goes wrong before then! IUGR babies tend to grow better on the outside vs the inside. Its nice to know that I have about 6 weeks left! I've been on bedrest 7 weeks already, so 6 weeks seems do-able! Hopefully she'll behave until then and preelampsia stays away.
She's given me something to think about: c/s or induction? Of course I'd rather be induced, but my cervix will most likely not be favorable to an induction. Oh well-I'd rather try! Worst case scenario is that I end up with a c/s anyways.
{Just throwing in at this time that we will not be telling ANYONE when we go into the hospital (so all of you ladies I work with, please no fb posts!). Charlie and I have decided we don't want extra people in the room during delivery and would like some time alone with our baby girl before we have visitors.}
In other news: My fluid is still around 12 and we passed today's NST thankfully!
Spoke with my doctor regarding the growth scan last week and Molly's growth is just fine: She's in the 25th percentile. She's small, but we knew that!

Another not-so-good day
Molly failed another NST today. Luckily I already had that extra ultrasound scheduled at the office. My fluid is up to 11.8 and we got a BPP of 8/8, PERFECT.
Apparently the u/s tech from last Thursday didn't have a clue as to why I was to come back for a repeat ultrasound today and then again on Thursday. From what I learned today, the doctor on call wasn't aware that my fluid started out at 6.1. So to her, 10 seemed low, when really its pretty high. She was also concerned that it was 10.8 before, then decreased to 10.0 last Thursday. So that was the reason I had to have an ultrasound today. Well and because she failed another NST.
I'm nervous every time we go in for an NST now. I don't get how she was super reactive at 24 weeks with a decreased amount of fluid and now that she is expect to look better with more fluid, she doesn't! Darn it Molly! Such a girl :)
Wish us luck for Thursday!

Good news-I think?
First off...30 weeks today. YIPPIE!!! And I got my girl scout cookies to celebrate :P
Ultrasounds shows that my fluid is still around 10 which is good, its stable. My last growth scan was 3 weeks ago and estimated that Molly was about 1 lb 12 oz. Today they estimated 2 lbs 9oz. While that looks and sounds like great growth, apparently the two difference machines at the different offices (MFM/my doctor's office) shows a problem.
The scan 3 weeks ago was done by MFM; their machine somehow put Molly at an overall 40th percentile, even though her head and abdomen are under the 10th percentile. At my doctor, the ultrasounds shows that she is way below the 40th percentile. So it looks as if she is falling behind even though she has had significant growth in the past 3 weeks. All of this is confusing and from what they said is basically just a difference in the way the computer generates the percentiles. Plus my doctor told me from the beginning that MFM always measure higher/bigger than the machines at my doctor's office for some reason.
(I would also just like to add as a mini vent that since my doctor is out of town, I feel like I am not getting told as much. My doc is very good about pulling out the ultrasound report, sitting down beside me and explaining everything about it. Today I was just told "she's looking good. She's small, but we've known that-that isn't any new news." I like having the details! Tell me what's still small-just her head or abdomen? Or now overall she's looking small?)
So my doctor's partner that was covering for her today suggested to the NP that we repeat the scans on Monday to make sure everything really does look okay. Sounds good to me. My doctor is back in on Tuesday and I'll get the full story Thursday from her. Until then please keep praying that Molly grows nice and big and stays inside for another 5-7 weeks at the least.
Last but not least, my first shower is the Saturday and I'm super excited to see all of my friends and family that I haven't seen in awhile! Hoping the weather is as good as it says it will be!
Nap time! :)

Her first "F"
Finding a title today was easy. We failed our first NST! Molly's first (and last) F. I had to go down to ultrasound to make sure everything was ok. She got a perfect score on her biophysical profile. I think she just really likes having ultrasounds done! I was scared for about 2 seconds that I was going to have to stay on the unit longer than I had hoped, but like always, Molly is perfect on ultrasounds. :)

Update
I've decided that I'm tired of coming up with a new title everytime so from now on they will all be known as "UPDATE" LOL clever, I know...
NST today: Molly was being super sleepy and wasn't showing off an impressive strip. A big cup of apple juice later and we were sent on to the ultrasound. Thankfully the juice woke her up a little bit.
Fluid level is now 10.88! Growth scan moved to next week since I'm no longer at MFM.
She's back head down, at least for this week. I had a feeling she had turned again because earlier this week as I was sitting on the couch reading, I actually saw my belly moving. Coolest. Thing. Ever. I mean, yes I've seen it happen many times before, but its just totally different now that its MY belly and MY baby making it move. :)
That's it for today! Off to nap. :D

Yay!
This will be a very short update. My appointments are in the process of being switched around. I might end up having my NSTs at the office vs the unit (I don't know if they'll be as nice with letting us get away with our little variables as the girls on the unit have been... :/ Molly better shape up!).
Got my labs back...
Urine protein was 160 (anything 300 or over is considered mild preeclampsia...so BOOYAH!)
Glucose was 92, so I passed! No gestational diabetes here. I kinda want to buy a cake to celebrate considering I've been telling myself I'd have to cut the sweets for the next 11 weeks. Another BOOYAH is deserved.
All other labs they ran are "normal"
That's it for today. Having my NST and ultrasound tomorrow. Oh and they aren't doing growth tomorrow because they messed my schedule up so I have to wait yet another week. Oh well :) Can't wait to get out of the house tomorrow!

I just LOVE good news!
Today I went into my doctor's appointment thinking I was going to talk my doctor into letting me skip every other week for my MFM (high risk dr) appointments. Instead, she surprised me and said I can just stop going to MFM and do normal ultrasounds weekly at her office. WHAT! Really? Heck yes! :D I LOVE THAT!
Turned in another 24 hour urine protein collection so I'm hoping for more good news there...and even more good news saying that I passed my glucola test. But hey, if everything else looks good then I'll take being a gestational diabetic. I mean that's not the worst thing that could happen. I'd rather have to watch my blood sugar and change my diet vs showing signs of preeclampsia at this point. If only I could pick :)
Last but not least: I'm 28 weeks today! That was the first goal I had in mind a month ago when I was in the hospital thinking that I could deliver a pre-term baby at anytime. Next goal: just 2 little bitty weeks=30. And my first baby shower :D
Once again, thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. Let's hope all my labs come back normal! :)
